I just updated from 4.0.2 to 4.1.12

On my old software I preferred to NOT use the advanced asset manager, but liked just the basic one with 3 image upload boxes and a url. I was also able to use the Insert Image method and select more than one image at a time.

Now it seems the only way to use the "insert image" function and be able to select multiple files at a time is by enabling Java or Flash method on the Asset Manager, otherwise I can only select one image at a time and upload via the Insert Image method.

But when I choose Java or Flash for the Asset Manager, it also gives me the advanced Asset Manager that is a little confusing to my users.

So what I'd like is to get back to using the Insert Image method, but able to choose multiple files at a time for uploading - WHILE using the NON advanced Asset manager, and just using the Attachment Manager.

Any advice?
