Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and didn't find anything.

I'm looking for a way to edit the default setting for deleting a thread or post. The default is to do a soft delete and I would like to change that so the default is a hard delete. On the forum I run all of the threads are sent to the trash and later to an archive. The posts that are deleted are those containing no valuable content or information. Just looking for a way to make the default option hard delete rather than having to select it every time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
