Hi Guys,

I got somewhat of a tech background but no guru. I'm already running a WordPress blog I really don't want to mess it up by not knowing what I'm doing, however, BuddyPress was not giving me the forum functionality I wanted so I bought vBulletin.

Is there anything special I need to know before uploading files? I want my WP site to remain in tact but vBulletin to take over the /forums directory.

Can anyone link me?

Also I read that there is an (unsupported) patch that will allow my WP user profiles to transfer over to vBulletin as well. I'd love to try this.

Any help much appreciatied..
