Do you have ANY other mods installed? This is the same code I run on my 3.x forum without issue (and everyone else who installed this mod) so it would be very unusual to have a parse-syntax error.

However if *ANY* mod running on that page has a syntax error, ALL mods will be broken until it is fixed.

If you have other mods try disabling them 1 by 1 until the error goes away.
