Hello, I was curious if this is possible in vbulletin, for some reason I thought it was standard that there was an option somewhere that let users request to join certain usergroups.

Basically what I want to do is simply, let our paid members turn ads on or off. The only way I can think that this is possible, have a new usergroup with the same permissions as the original usergroup except that usergroup is excluded from the advertising.

Is this possible someway somehow? Or is there another way?
