well if you remove it from the template then no value will be inputed and it will be presumed to be 0.

So remove it from the template and then do the following.

open up member.php and register.php

look for

PHP Code:

  $pmpopup=iif($pmpopup=="yes",1,0); 


change to

PHP Code:

  $pmpopup=1;
