They said this:
"In order to check processes use "top -c" and "ls -la /proc/<process ID>" of that defunct process."

I did top -c, found the process ID, but cant type ls -la /proc/<ID>" and every once in a while the process ID would change, so i cant just reset my ssh connection and use the same process id.
