Hi,

We want to open a classifieds section on our board where users can post an ad for a month for a price of XX dollars.

The ad would be a thread in a special subforum. Obviously I want everyone on the forum to see the section, but I don't want an advertiser to be able to freely post ad-after-ad and new thread-after-new thread in that subforum. So 1 subscription per month equals 1 thread.

I've read through the section in the manual: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/subscriptions

My problem is that it looks as if that will let a usergroup post unlimited threads in the subforum and may not allow regular users to view the subforum.

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to set up what I'm looking for? If not, no big deal, I'll fire it up in a support ticket Just thought I'd try here first.
