Thanks for the clarification.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.
I am looking for an article on how to add an extra
link (not dropdown menu) to the Navbar's
existing Tabs. Lynne's article was how to add a
new tab and associated new set of navbar values, but mentions nothing about adding further links to
existing tabs/navbars. In fact, on paragraph 2 here were her own words:
This article is NOT to be used just to add another link to a submenu. It is for creating the Nav Link tab along with all the submenus. Again, if all you want is to add submenus to an existing tab, then this article is NOT for you!!!
So I have created the custom tab/navbars I wanted through Lynne's article, but what I am trying to do is, on my
existing Home/Forum/Blogs tabs to edit
their associated navbars with
links of my choosing, not dropdown menus. The way I understand it, each tab generates a different navbar, so you have to tinker with each tab/navbar configuration.
I know how to do this with the new plugin tabs I have created, but the pre-existing Home/Forum/Blogs tabs don't seem to work the same way. This is what I am trying to tinker with and Iain was kind enough to respond with a suggestion, but I couldn't get it to work that way.
Hope this was clearer and thanks for responding,
Jack
