I've been able to get the system basically up and running flawlessly aside from this one issue. I dunno what it determines as my download path, thus no one can download anything.
Again, I am obviously rusty and the internet has come along way in about 8 years or so.... any help would be much appreciated.
[edit] Whoa this technically is my first post on vb.org ever?! WTF, I used to be a developer here lol.
Also, I have the downloads product disabled, however the "Downloads" link still exists in my Navbar Tab, and I see no way to disable that either. I have all modules disabled, and yet the systems is usable....sort of. You're more than welcome to look at what me and my friend have setup at this point lol. http://www.grievousguild.com/forums[/edit]

If you look in the ACP you can find the path to your forum directory.
ACP->Maintenance->View PHP Info
Just change the path from your forums to your downloads.
Do you have it disabled in the product section? As soon as I disable it there the navbar link goes away. If I disable the global module I don't see it as well.
