Please don't misunderstand - I appreciate your offerings of free modifications and your efforts at free support. But here you are responding to something in your Mod that is obviously something overlooked and omitted, something simple, with a complaint that I didn't use the "official" forum therefore it's MY fault the report might have been overlooked, forgotten or omitted! The irony is strong here.
When that time could have been spent duplicating the issue and figuring it out, taking it seriously instead of trying to blame shift.
One more time, here is the issue:
This modification does not work at all if the user who is tagged with it has a underscore in their username. It works with dashes and dots, but not underscores.
I would appreciate a update that fixes this.

*scratches head* I'm not sure where you got the idea it was a complaint - I was letting you know that posting on our forum means it's much less likely to get overlooked. My words were literally "it's always a good idea".
For the record I don't personally handle code support so the "time wasted" argument doesn't really apply here either =)
Thanks again for reporting the issue - as before if it's important to you I strongly suggest you report it on our forums to ensure it goes into the bug tracker. We have over 30 products by several coders and it's not possible to drop everything to fix a bug reported immediately, which means that they can easily be forgotten about if they are not being actively tracked.
We have a system set up and in place - one that can't be used here on vb.org - to ensure bugs are properly logged and accounted for. vb.org isn't really designed to actively support so many modifications easily (over 50 when vb3 & 4 versions are taken into account) If people choose not to use it then there is a chance they will be overlooked. No one is at "fault", it's merely an option there users can take advantage of to ensure issues important to them don't fall through the cracks.
Just to make sure you don't get the wrong end of the stick again, this isn't a 'complaint' and i'm not trying to 'blame' you for anything - I'm just explaining why it's a good idea to use the system in place at our site and the reasons things easily get missed.
