It is only your mod and DavidsMod which is similar to yours causing this. After refreshing the page everythings fine. Also no problem with the advanced editor, only the quick reply has this problem.
If you are having similar problems with the Quick Reply then this further strengthens my reasoning that it is in fact not a problem with our mods. Your site is set up in a way that you are unable to use AJAX without it "breaking" special characters in that way.

Unfortunately I have zero experience with this because I have never had to deal with it - all characters work out of the box with a default install of vBulletin so I really don't know where the issue lies
