Is there a plug in or hack out there that allows each user to filter certain forums from coming up in the new posts search?

In my case, we have a huge "classifieds" forum that floods the new posts results. Some people only look at the classifieds and some people don't care too much for them..
I am using vb 4.1.10 :up:
