I run http://battleforums.com. My Google rankings took a MASSIVE hit and I lost 90% of my traffic because (as I see it), my page load time is ridiculously long for some reason. I am averaging 14 seconds to load a page across my site right now and I have seen it as high as 65 seconds (that is an average :/ ).

Please suggest changes that you have personally done that have shown great decreases in page load times. I greatly appreciate it.

I have installed vboptimise but the configuration is a bit off and not complete, although I have seen mild improvements. Also, my host told be that vBseo seems to being taking up a large part of my CPU processing for some reason, suggestions on optimising it for page load would be greatly appreciated as well.
