This hack doesn't change or add something in "showthread", that's why I want to know how can I add that kind of conditional in it.

It affects "postbit", so if I add my code in it< everything works, but reply buttons and quick reply formI can't hide from there as you understand

I've got another idea =)
Both "thanks" and "groan" hacks are using reputation on my board, +1/-1 point.
So I can add in "showthread" a conditional like

if threadstarter' reputation of his 1-st post has been changed then show reply buttons and quick reply form
else
message like "You have to "thank/groan post first"

Can someone help me with that kind of conditionals?
