Your users can simply use the paperclip in Post reply>go advanced, click on the paperclip and attach as many pics as they need (depending on how you have permissions set) then add some text to the post then where they want the pic go back to the paperclip and choose which pic they want there, repeat the operation until the post is complete!

All you need do is have the number of pics per post set for the usergroup and system.
