Hmmm...a member since 2006 with over 700 posts, hardly seems the type.
Now me on the other hand...I've been a building contractor for 30 years and know when a bid is too low. Low bids usually include paying the original price, paying someone to undo the wrong work and then paying someone to do it right. This scenario directly relates to almost all applications of/in practical life.
The thread title suggests he wanted everyone's opinion. I'd really like to change mine. It seems to me the legitimate developers would almost welcome some type of standard in the industry that would help prevent unqualified people from taking advantage of people like me. Perhaps a licensing system like the construction industry has in place.
