Having a hard time understanding the whole section/article setup - yes I am new to this.

Here is what I would like to do, but for some reason, I am struggling with it:

My website will highlight multiple hikes.

I will create a section for each hike.

On that section page, I would like to upload a static html page with all of the hike details.

Now, what I would like to do is give registered users the permission to create articles. I would then review them and publish them All good up to this point.

Now the problem, when I publish the articles, I would like a preview to show up on the section page below the static page I have created. When I am logged in as administrator, the previews show up just fine on the section page along with the number of pageviews, but when I log out or login as another registered user, there are no previews and my page view numbers are gone as well.

Am I missing something simple here?

I finally got that fixed............just one more issue.

Even though I have my main static page selected to display in the number one position and the new article to display number two, the new article is still appearing above the main static page, not below. Any ideas?

Sorry for all the newbie questions.
