I am running vBulletin? Version 3.8.2
I am thinking of going to vB4.
Firstly can I go and upgrade from vBulletin? Version 3.8.2 to the latest vB4 or do I have to upgrade to the latest 3.8 version first?

Also I want to clean up my cPanel, so I was thinking could I delete all the files in there, then up load all the new vB 4 files and then once I've done that run the upgrade php?

In my eyes, this would only be the same as over writing the vB3 files but instead deleting all the files and then uploading the new vB4 files, as I am not deleting anything in the data base, but maybe I'm thinking wrong...
