vbmksize takes information provided by an uploaded file and converts it to a number that is stored in the database based on specifics provide earlier. I use it for vbDownload to determine approximate size when entering a new file into the database.

You misunderstand what I mean by file extension, I know its .zip and .rar but what I need to know is the application extension for being read when downloading. More like file information extension for processing when downloading a file.
