TBH I'd be a bit wary of having a section that automatically lets people in based on what age they put in when they joined, what if minors got in by putting the wrong age in, will you have a disclaimer?

I have an adult/members only area. To gain access people have to have been a member for 3 months and have over 100 posts. Then they have to request to join and I will approve them based on that. Of course, they could lie but generally over their membership you get a good feel for the age of a person.
