I've had a serious spammer problem recently also!

I was just coming here to ask what can be done about it, I have tried reCapcha, now the image verification hasn't worked so I have gone to question and answer.

What else can we do? And also a mass delete or ban would work for me too! I have about 60 accounts registered in the last few days that I need to get rid of, could do without doing them all seperately.

Today I deleted loads of mine from the admin panel

users>prune/move users, then I did a search for users with 0 posts within the last 2 weeks (most of mine have never posted)

Then you can either select all or do what I did and select all then untick people that look genuine.

I had a TON of 123unsecured.loan.now01 type user names and loads of .ru and .pl email addresses which I now need to find a way to block. Never had so many spammers as I have had in the last week. Luckily only a few of them managed to post.
