My best advice is to recruit people in real life. That's what I plan on doing for both of my sites. I haven't started yet because I'm not really finished setting them up. You really need to wow people if you want them to continue coming back. Put ads out in your community at wal-mart, churches, colleges and even craigslist. Print out business cards and stuff. Go to clubs. Create flyers.
