So, I have been searching for 4 days now, checking out add ons, mods, etc etc etc.

It appears there are none that will run as a block in forum blocks. I assume VB doesn't support something there?

But surely, someone has conquered this problem already and has a shout box in the forum blocks area??! In my case, at right of my forums.

I have the full vBulletin CMS/Forums, etc suite.

I will mention I am in the forum.php and looking at hacking in my cbox code...and see where the sidebar is mentioned, but not sure how to inject my few lines in there. As it seems this is the only place it can go such that I can use some VB variables?

Anyone savvy on stitching a little something pre-sidebar blocks? I know I have to replace then on ant upgrades...but thats ok.
