Hi,

I need to build a product but am having a little trouble getting started. I know all the pieces of the puzzle: php, html, sql, etc. and I've read through the vBulletin docs regarding "Creating a product" and downloaded a couple of products/mods. I'm getting more familiar on how all of the pieces fit together in the vBulletin product/plugin system world, but I learn the quickest from a very basic example which I can't seem to find anywhere.

All I really need to get started is a textbox on a form that a user can submit and then that data is stored in the db, linked to that specific user. Are there any basic product examples out there that I'm just missing?

Nevermind. Let me chew on this tutorial for a while. I had no clue vBulletin made it this streamlined to create a product. I thought I had to hardcode everything in the XML from a product export, lol!
