Hello all. Quick question. When I first began my forum I had a group of guys who were ready to switch from another forum day 1. So I went ahead and made the forum.php the default load page for the URL as I had no clue or time to start on the content.php page and didn't want a generic Vbulletin page loading.

I now have much better content on my content.php page. And would like to point my index.php at my content.php instead... Basically changing it from the forum to the homepage. My question is.. What impact will that have on search engines.. Will it see it as just a simple content update? Or will it ding me. Some of my site links in Google are already pointing to the content.php page. I can handle a small ding. But if it knocks my wiener in the dirt that's gonna suck...
