I had purchased version 1.0.1 when it just came out and never had a problem with it. Yesterday I had a member trying to add a 2011 vehicle to their profile and could not figure out how to add vehicles newer than 2009 year.

So i updated to the 2.0.6 version today thinking this would be solved.

I uploaded all files correctly, and deleted unneeded files as well.

I imported the products and phrases, and see everything in my ACP.

But when I access the garage.php file it just loads nothing. Chrome reports HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)

But when I got into the Garage General Settings and set it to active "no" It loads the page up perfectly.

Not sure what to do anymore at this point.

The vB3 version is not actively developed but I still support it.
So you had the pro version and installed a newer free version on top of it?
It should work ok but I've never actually tried it heh.
If you get a 500 error it will usually generate a log with the actual error that is happening. Either it will be in cPanel logs or it could create a error.log file in the directory with the problem. Just depends on the server setup and error that's happening
