So are you using UTF-8 on your database, huh? Because your code doesn't lie. I fix the UTF-8 and foreing problem just removing your "workaround", and having a good vBulletin installation. So HOW can you say that using UTF-8 cause performance issues?

I'm testing now with a ISO-8859-1 vbulletin installation. I will show you my results.

Now I see the "Restrictions", but was recently published.
