If you need to read a bit more and click a few more times your mouse, I think it still is a good mod and worth the trouble. Making a thread "live" changes how your users see your forum, my members and I can vouch for that, a lot of members left when we switched to vb4 without "live topic" (previous "live" mod), until we got that vb3 live topic mod ported to vb4 our traffic was not nearly as much as when we did finally port it, now I would be using this mod because we can have some sort of support for it if anything. Also I think the price for the Gold version is on point as well considering what it brings to your forums.
