I'm surprised no mentioned this earlier, but I noticed the latest version (2.8.1) does not display a specific error message when a required field is lacking:



Didn't it use to explain which field was missing? e.g. Something like: Deal Thread URL is invalid

^That was confirmed on a sandbox with a fresh 'virgin' install of vb4.1.5 PL1 with 2.8.1.


I'm also have a problem with the blank white page after a successful iTrader is submitted. The blank pages url is "forum.com/itrader_feedback.php" and is only occurring on the primary forum, not the fresh sandbox install. I suspect it's one of the many template / phrase edits we've done on the primary site. I reverted all of the template edits and reinstalled 2.8.1 (overwriting all files) without success.

Has anyone else experienced a blank white page after a successful feedback?

P.S. This is an amazing hack and huge thanks to Entertain for porting it to vb4! All too often people complain without realizing how much time and effort goes into creating and supporting a free hack like this. I'm sending you a donation now. Thanks again!
