Ok, I have added a background image by going to

Style manager>edit templates>css templates>vbulletin.css

I found the code for the background there and added an image tag to the css.
For an example please visit http://www.teamotec.net

I am still looking for a solution to the view profile problem, and have also noticed that the same problem occurs on the add article, and post blog pages...

Help on that would be appreciated
