If that doesn't work, try this:
Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

so i didnt go any further and i created a new style just like you said but that didnt work. it could be a plugin then?

iv gone through all enabled plugins and disabled thm one by one and its still not working??
