is it possible?? completely remove the vbulletin from server and install fresh version of vbulletin and connect previous database???is it working properly??

i think first take the backup of table through cpanel ..

then remove all files and folders and tables....

then install the fresh vbulletin and restore the table....

is it possible????any way to loss data???
