It depends. To get familirised with its core set up from an admin point of view all it takes is a few days playing around the Acp.

To get familirised with its coding and styling structure might take a little longer. But you should have some knowledge in htmls, css, php, mysql etc. You should also have lots of time and patience, especially the latter
