In regards to restoring... well I would love to, as I once had Marco (former coordinator here) explain to me once, you want to leave a thread so others can reference however the mod has no file to download and that has been a rule (unless the info is deemed pertinent enough to not have a file i.e. a elaborate template edit etc) for quite some time. If we leave it then it serves as a promotion in a sense for the author who left the community with nothing in return, "It was fun while it lasted" I guess we could say
