You can have them Google how to modify the "hosts" file on a MAC there is info for that and make sure it resolves to the new IP. I know this has caused me quite a few headaches on occasion when some simply did not realize that's all that was required OR assumed they were doing it correctly and in fact were not resulting in more screaming at yours truly and me shaking head in turn
