I am able to like newer posts in that thread, though. Is there a reason for that, or is it some kind of bug?

I would assume it should be this way, imo marking as "Installed" should be considered the ultimate form of "like" in regards to a modification

. This way it would then make sense i.e. you can like other posts in the thread however if you like the actual mod, mark it as installed
