Yeah, some people are having issues with it.

Some of my users have reported the same issue, though they CAN edit with the Advanced editor--just not the Quick Edit. (Some cannot even Go Advanced, unfortunately.) And when ANY of my users ARE able to edit with the Quick Edit, it seems that all line breaks are removed.

Have ya disabled your plugins temporarily to see if any of them are causing the problem?
