download the main style, re-upload it and give a new name - this for cms use. So you will have 2 identical style. The style for cms you can make it width fixed.

Then in the frontpage section editor set the style to the new style.
(how to go into the frontpage section editor: while hovering the frontpage title click the pencil icon.)
