In options do you have it set for members to switch between styles?
AdminCP > Settings > Options > Style & Language Options

If no and your working on this behind the scenes, enable it so they can switch (meaning you can now too, sometimes even if you click the style name in the style manager to view it yourself it will conflict w/ the setting... not all the time but sometimes) and I bet it's fixed .
Otherwise if you have many styles and members switch freely all the time and this simply won't show the new style you can try:
- Export the old style out so you have a saved copy.
- Delete the old style.
- Now import the new style.
If none of that works is there something else your not disclosing? A recently installed modification/plugin etc? A Recent change?
