Ok a little help and advice please guys....

We have just reinstalled our forums and started over and the whole site looks fine in Firefox but when using Internet Explorer the page is messed up with Tabs overlapping others and appearing in places they shouldn't be.
At the min the sites off-line to members and guests so i would like to fix this before we open again,Any ideas on what to do?
