First, Disable Hooks and see if you have the same problem. If the problem goes away it's a mod causing the issue- You can troubleshoot by disabling some until you find the culprit.

If Disabling Hooks doesn't help, got o the Style Manager. Add a new style with No Parent Style and try using that. If the problem doesn't happen with the new style there's a style problem and we can troubleshoot that.

Most likely 1 of the above should fix the problem.
