There probably is a way but the usernames are links to the users profiles so to separate the links for Usernames from every other type of link would mean some changes to the stylevars.

I'm not sure how you would go about that to be honest, but I wouldn't have thought it would be an easy thing to do unless you are very familiar with vBulletins code.
