I'd say it was green not black, I hate black too, but I agree it's dark

. I have to admit I wanted to keep it "gamey" without it being a stereotypical gamer site. There's current only 1 banner advert so hopefully it doesn't detract too much.

I might update the background to include some battlefield imagery but I will definitely have to think about it carefully

Thank you for alerting me to the IE7 issue, unfortunately those issues look pretty bad. I'm not great with CSS so I don't think I could get that fixed alone. IE7 however is a dying browser (thank god), so i'm not sure if that will ever get fixed. (I'll have to see).
