Sometimes those who release free work may not see the need to put themselves through more work no matter if it's screenshots or other, not sure about this author simply stating the obvious and as Brandon pointed out w/ his wit... that's quite a bit to demo. Now from another perspective we could say a demo or screenshot should be included with all modifications no matter what (to a point per say) however we won't play both sides here and now it's trivial truly if you take into consideration you have the ability to test yourself.
Long story short anyone can create a clone/demo forum, a testvb installation which is allowed per the license agreement and you can test any and every modification released to your hearts content without fear of damaging or hindering your live/production site and it saves you from typing out "Demo Please" on every other mod w/o one
