I Implemented Today the Human Verification On Usergroups "Not Activated", "Pending Approval", and Also "New Approved Members", Following Your Instructions and Recommendations, and You're Right a SPAM Operators Can Create Accounts, Pass the Registration and Anti-Spammer Checkings, and then Configure a SPAM Bot to Access the Accounts and Post Annoying SPAM Messages on the Forums.
Also can be Used the Mod "
Throttle Posts/Threads (restrict number of posts/threads by usergroup/forum by time)", to Control the Number of Posts in a Period of Time the Usergroups Can Post (Specially New Approved Members); if a Spammer Registers and Passes the Posting Human Verifications, at least won't be Able to Post more than "X" Messages in a Period of Time of "Y" Minutes.
I Like a Lot the
KEYCAPTCHA Feature that, if the PUZZLE is Not Well Solved and the User tries to Press the "Post" or "Register" or "Send Message" Button, the
KEYCAPTCHA System Won't Allow to Pass to the Next Page (to Send the Form), so the User Won't Have to Press the Back Button, and a New Puzzle Will be Displayed to be Solved and Only then Pass to the Next Page/Step.
Great Features and Very Effective.
My Best Regards To All the
KEYCAPTCHA Team,
Thank You Very Much For Your Efforts To Help Us Control Spammers.:up::up:
