As per the title, I have had complaints from my users that once they give reputation to another user the "give reputation" button remains visible although it cannot be used. So when they revisit the thread later they try to rep it again (having forgotten that they already have) and they get an error.

It would be nice if I could just make it so that the +rep button would be hidden for a user once they have given that particular post rep already.

I contacted vbulletin official support and they said this is not a standard function so they cannot help me. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue or knows of a way to get it to behave the way I would like it to.

Any help appreciated.
