I have a private site and I am very new to all of this, so I hope my questions do not sound too stupid. I know nada about vbulletin and I am trying to learn about it from reading your posts. The person who built my site told me to get advice from here.

My 1st question is when I get an email saying I have a new member, what do I do to "accept" them and allow to post?

Also, because of all the spammers I asked that all kinds of security options were put up; When someone applies their name appears on my home page and I do not want it to, what do I do to prevent the appearance of their name (I don't want to see ViagraEd on my home page)

Any help will be greatly appreciated and thank you, in advance,
