vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Control size of pics linked to with IMG?

Is there any setting, or perhaps a third party mod, that permits a site to control the size of pics linked to by users who employ the IMG code?

We get users link to large pics, somtimes 2-3 megabytes in size, but more importantly, pixel sizes of 1600x1200 etc....

Is there a way to block IMG links, perhaps showing an error message to the user, to pics that are less than say, 1024x768 in size?
