The BBR Mod was the evolution of this mod.

Looking at the mod you posted- it looks like it makes a new thread for every user? If so then the threadid will be different for each one so no, that won't work.

I would consider upgrading your welcome thread mod to the BBR version if you want to redirect users to their personal welcome thread.

Alternatively you could make 1 welcome thread not specific to a particular user and put the threadid into this mod as you described.

If you're happy with your current welcome mod (no bugs) I would really suggest you wait until either the BBR mod is updated or I do my next significant update of this which will let you use both mods without any known bugs.
